Located in Port Lincoln, South Australia Western Abalone Processors export our IQF Greenlip abalone into Hong Kong and America, and our canned blacklip into Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, Singapore and China. Our shells are exported to Vietnam and Egypt. Western Abalone Processors Pty Ltd was formed in 1982. It is owned by 12 Directors who are all equal shareholders and all abalone licence holders. Located in beautiful Port Lincoln, South Australia, the factory processes an average of 122 tonnes per annum of wild caught abalone and in late 2007 began processing farmed abalone. We also export approximately 17.6 tonnes of greenlip abalone shells per year. We have recently expanded and upgraded our facilities, including wonderful new offices, store rooms, receivals area, and improvements to equipment such as freezers and holding rooms.
