The evening will launch key marketing initiatives including websites, guides and new branded digital collateral.

About Keith Palmer
Keith Palmer was Chief Executive of the Wakatu Incorporation and has a broad commercial background including extensive experience in financial analysis, marketing management, business development management, bank management and property development.
He was with Wakatu Incorporation for fifteen years and is responsible for transforming the organisation into a leading New Zealand Food & Beverage company. Wakatu Incorporation is a ‘business of the land and the sea’ and along with managing their land based assets, Wakatu is involved in food and beverage, seafood, wine and fruit.
Wakatu Incorporation was formed in 1977 with an $11 million asset base of mainly land, and has grown into a $250m property, food and beverage business and export company. Ten million shares are held by about 3000 descendants of Maori landowners in Nelson, Motueka and Golden Bay. Its tribal affiliations are Ngati Rarua, Ngati Tama, Te Atiawa and Ngati Koata.
Keith will be speaking on;
- The New Zealand experience of doing business in China under the Free Trade Agreement;
- The journey of building a diversified, fully integrated business (Wakatu Incorporation);
- Food and Beverage marketing management – experience with market development strategies;
- Indigenous branding – Kono.
Keith currently sits on several boards and committees. He is suitably experienced to provide corporate consultation and offers his services to the Food and Beverage industry of the Eyre Peninsula in collaboration with RDAWEP.
